Radio hurakan desde Cancun la voz de la resistencia

Radio Hurakan – nace en medio de la tormenta de resistencia ante las politicas que la OMC discutira en Cancun, y con la necesidad de hacer llegar las voces rebeldes, propositivas, libres, comunitarias y alternas que se han reunido en este momento para formar acuerdos, discutir, dialogar y reunir cabezas, manos y corazones en la construccion de un mundo digno y justo para todas.

En un esfuerzo por llevar las palabras vivas y verdaderas a todos los rincones del mundo, Radio Hurakan se conforma de una serie de colectivos y redes de radios comunitarias, populares, independientes y libres entre las que se encuentran: H Ruido, Tupa Radio, Radio Zapote, Radio Tormenta, suuAuu Manifiesto, Mundo Real Radio, Global Radio, Shockwave Radio and Radio gap from Italy, Canon Radio from France, AMARC, Aler, Greenpeace, OneWorldRadio,WORT-Madison, Free Speech Radio News, WBAI-New York, KPFK-Los Angeles, Indymedia Chiapas, Indymedia London, Indymedia Uruguay, DOST JE! (Enough!) Radio from Slovenia, Radio Indymedia, y otras.

Radio Hurakan sera una difusion por internet de los Cancun Medios Independientes desde el 11 de septiembre hasta el 14 de septiembre y se puede encontrar pulsando sobre la imagen del radio en http://cancun.mediosindependientes.org.

Para nuevas formas de control, nuevas formas de resistencia…como un hurakan, la radio sale al aire.

Radio Hurakan is born amidst the storm of resistance to the policies that the wto will discuss in cancun, and the need for the voices of the people to be heard - the rebel voices, the alternative voices, the voices of the community. All of these people have gathered at this moment to form agreements , discuss and dialogue, and bring communities together to create a more dignified and just world for all.

In an effort to disseminate the stories of the people to all corners of the world, Radio Hurakan is composed of a series of collectives and networks of community, popular, independent and free radio. Participants include: H Ruido, Tupa Radio, Radio Zapote, Radio Tormenta, suuAuu Manifiesto, Mundo Real Radio, Global Radio, Shockwave Radio and Radio gap from Italy, Canon Radio from France, AMARC, Aler, Greenpeace, OneWorldRadio,WORT-Madison, Free Speech Radio News, WBAI-New York, KPFK-Los Angeles, Indymedia Chiapas, Indymedia London, Indymedia Uruguay, DOST JE! (Enough!) Radio from Slovenia, Radio Indymedia and many more that will repeat and transmit the live web steam during this week of global action and mobilisation in Cancun.
