Peruvian student beaten to death in Voronezh
MOSCOW. Oct 10 (Interfax) - A group of street ruffians have
severely beaten three foreign students of the local university in
Voronezh, a source in law enforcement told Interfax on Monday.
One student from Spain and two from Peru, all born in 1987, were
attacked in the grounds of a sports complex in the city center Sunday
evening.
"One Peruvian died of the beating and the two other foreign
students were hospitalized with scull and brain injuries," the source
said.
"The nationals of Spain and Peru were beaten out of hooliganism.
There were about 15 assailants," the source said adding that the
Voronezh region prosecutor's office has opened a criminal case.
The source said it is not the first time that foreign students have
come under attack in Voronezh. |

Soy de Voronezh. Fui aterrorizado para oír las noticias. Realmente siento vivir en un lugar como este. No hay ninguna excusa para la gente que hizo este. Sólo deseo que algo sea hecho sobre ello. No hay nada más vergonzoso que estar avergonzado de su ciudad. Realmente siento. Mi compasión más profunda a quienquiera conocía al chico peruano. |
