FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA- MARE NOSTRUM. 29 de desembre de 2008. 29th of December 2008 Davant del brutal atac que està llençant el Govern israelià contra els territoris ocupats de Gaza, manifestem el nostre total rebuig a aquestes actuacions de força d´un estat contra un territori ocupat que fins i tot té dificultats en la pròpia subsistència. Les informacions de cooperants internacionals diuen que des del 1967 l´Estat d´israel no havia matat tantes persones en tants pocs dies. I això és molt greu. Un atac d´aquestes característiques no es justifica dient que els palestins havien llençat cohets. Recordem que les fonts oficials de la pròpia ONU només havien comptabiltzat un cohet palestí el dia anterior als atacs israelians. No es pot tenir tot un territori, com el de Gaza, sota bloqueig per mar i terra (tant per la part isrealiana com egipcia) d´aliments, combustible i transports i anar obrint l´aixeta de tant en tant, sense possiblitats que aquesta població pugui sortir del territori en una situació molt semblant a un gran camp de concentració i a més a més esperar que la població d´aquest territori estigui contenta amb els ocupants. LA FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA manifestem el nostre desig de treballar per unes relacions solidàries entre el nord i el sud de la Mediterrània i entre els seus pobles. NO ACCEPTEM que un país pugui actuar per la força, amb la complicitat internacional, contra un altre. DENUNCIEM la complicitat del Govern dels Estats Units que sempre donen el vist-i-plau a la utilització de la força en els conflictes i els seus interessos imperialstes a la zona. També critiquem les declaracions de Condoleezza Rice que, després del bombardeig massiu a Gaza, ha dit que condemna dels atacs amb missils i morters contra Israel. LA FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA ens solidaritzem totalment amb el poble palestí que no es mereix tant de patiment i també ens solidaritzem amb un percentatge encara petit d´israelians que han estat manipulats constantment. Els periodistes independents donen unes xifres de 40 % de població israeliana a favor dels bombardejos i un 46 % en contra, mentre el Govern israelià encara avui mateix dona unes xifres de 81 % a favor. La manipulació de les seves pròpies enquestes és constant. Esperem la reacció d´aquest significatiu percentatge d´israelians que es decideixin a treures el jou de l´imperialisme que els esclafa fins i tot a ells mateixos. A més a més de la protesta contra aquest acte de violència puntual, la FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA demana una solució global al conflicte de l´Orient Mitjà. Bona part d´aquesta solució està condicionat al que passi a Palestina. Els palestins tenen tot el dret de tenir el seu propi territori, un estat propi i un lloc definitiu on viure. creiem fermament que la solució passa per garantir els drets individuals i col.lectius dels palestins de manera que puguin viure amb dignitat amb els seus drets i necessitats bàsiques garantides. No només ho demanem per als palestins sinó per tots els pobles de la mediterrània que veuen com la repressió lesiona els seus drets com a persones. Un territori cohesionat i comunicat, en cap cas un territori esquarterat i aïllat com els guettos negres de Sudàfrica. La FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA creiem fermament que aquesta solució passa pel diàleg i no pel bombardeig, per desmuntar les colònies il.legals per part de l´Estat d´Israel, perque els palestins tinguin un territori cohesionat, pel retorn de refugiats i desplaçats i per la eliminació del mur. Tots sabem els patiments de les poblacions del mon que convieun amb murs. LA FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA no entenem el silenci de polítics importants que representen països que han patit desplaçaments, exilis, bombardejos i masacres similars. LA FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA creiem fermament que la solució passa per garantir els drets individuals i col.lectius dels palestins de manera que puguin viure amb dignitat amb els seus drets i necessitats bàsiques garantides. No només ho demanem per als palestins sinó per tots els pobles de la mediterrània que veuen com la repressió lesiona els seus drets com a persones. LA FEDERACIÓ D´ENTITATS DE LA MEDITERRÀNIA donem suport a totes les iniciatives ciutadanes per aturar els atacs israelians i per canviar les coses en aquesta part del a Mediterrània. S´HAN D´ATURAR ELS BOMBARDEJOS, S´HA D´ATURAR EL BLOQUEIG. SOLIDARITAT AMB PALESTINA. FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES-MARE NOSTRUM We express our total rejection towards Israel's savage attack against the occupied territories of Gaza, territories that have to struggle for subsistence. Information coming from aid workers say that Israeli government hasn't killed this many people in so little time since 1967, so this is a very serious situation. We can't justify this kind of attack by claiming that they threw rockets before. Let's remember that official sources from UN had only counted one palestinian rocket the day before the israeli attacks. This kind of territory can't be blocked by land and by sea, keeping it from getting fuel and groceries freely and keeping the population from leaving, creating a situation that resembles a concentration camp, and still wanting the popultation to be happy with the occupants. , THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES states it's willingness to work for supportive relations between Mediterranean's north south and it's nations. WE DON'T ACCEPT That a country has the abilty to act violently against another with international consent. WE DENUNCE The complicity of the U.S. in the issue and the fact that they always support violent actions in response to conflicts, moved by their own imperialist interests in the area. We also critize Condoleezza Rice's declarations saying that she condemns the missile and mortar attacks against Israel after the massive bombing in Gaza. THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES wants to give its total support to the palestinians, who don't deserve this terrible suffering and we also support the little percentage of israelis that have been constantly manipulated. Independant journalists have given these numbers: 40% of the israeli population are in favor of the bombing and 46% are against it while Israeli government is still giving us numbers like 81% in favor. This is how they're constantly manipulating their own surveys. Hopefully this significant percentage of israelis against the bombing decides to do something against the imperialism that harms them as well. Apart from this protest against this particular act of violence, THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES asks for a global solution for the Middle East conflict. Great part of this solution will depend on what happens in Palestina. Palestinians have all the right to have a territory of their own, their own state and a permanent place to live. A united and well communicated territory, not a divided one like the south african ghettos. THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES firmly believes that this solution will necessarly involve dialog and not bombing, will take the dismantling of the ilegal colonies by Israel in order to allow the palestinians to have a united territory, the return of the displaced and the refugees and the removal of the wall. We all know the suffering of countries that live with walls. THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES doesn't understand the silence of important politicians that represent those countries that have been through displacements, exiles, bombings and similar massacres. THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES firmly believes that the solution will involve the assurance of individual and collective rights of palestinians so they can have a decent life, having ensured their rights and their basic needs. We are asking this conditions not only for the palestinians but for all the mediterranean nations whose rights are damaged by repression. THE FEDERATION OF MEDITERRANEAN ENTITIES supports every iniciative from citizens to stop the israeli attacks and to stimulate changes in this side of the Mediterranean. BOMBINGS MUST STOP. i per què no aneu a fer d' escut humà a Gaza?
