En abril del 2007, durante la celebración de la IV edición del Festival Internacional de Cine del Sahara, tres amigos se embarcan en la aventura de impartir un curso de fotografía en el campamento de refugiados de Dajla, en Argelia.
La aventura y las imágenes producidas por los 17 jóvenes participantes les brindan la oportunidad de descubrir como tras más de 30 años de espera en la Hammada, la zona más inhóspita del desierto argelino, los refugiados se encuentran en una situación critica, al borde de la desesperación, sin paciencia.
Un montaje fresco y dinámico, y un sensacional lenguaje que nos acerca a la vida del pueblo Saharaui, un pueblo vendido y olvidado y con un futuro más que incierto. Un viaje visual a través de la historia del pueblo Saharaui, la situación actual en los campamentos de refugiados en el sur de Argelia y las claves para el futuro de un conflicto que dura más de 31 años.
In April 2007 , during the celebration of the IV edition of The Sahara International Film Festival, three friends embark on a adventure of running a photography course in the refugee camp of Dajla in Algeria.
The adventure and the images produced by the 17 participants bring them the opportunity of learning that after 30 years of waiting in the Hammada, the most inhospitable area of the Algerian desert, the refugees find themselves in a critical situation, on the verge of desperation, with their patience exhausted.
A vibrating and dynamic editing and a sensational language taking us to the life of the Saharawi people, a people once sold and ever since forgotten and with an uncertain future. A visual trip through the history of the Saharawi people, the actual situation of the refugee camps in south Algeria and the keys for a conflict lasting over 31 years. |
