squatters entered on friday night last and on monday morning they began to OPEN THE DOORS.
the mossos arrived and id was given.
later that day a new community garden was started in the land nearby : food for the ships crew and their friends......
we got a visit from the mossos yesterday, we have been served with an eviction order from the penal, not the civil, this means we must leave in 1 week from yesterday, we will stay till the end time, we are appealing through the courts at present.
so it means we have a week to work, we are all busy doing the different things

There is very good support from the community to fight for saving the building, or part of it, and from that making a centre for the area. presently there is no social centre in the area and all the community have said they support us, the members of our collective who are from barcelona are actually shocked by how positive the people are, especailly the older ones in their 70´s and 80´s.
anyway, as the penal order has been slapped on us, we are proposing to hit back in a very creative non violent way, to step up a new form of resistance, as it appears that the authorities have changed their methods of playing the game, in the old days we would have months there, now we have days. so we need also to change the game, which we are currently doing.
tonight we "open"
5-6 games in placa del jugar / square of play : sitting in sun, playing giant chess and draughts/damas, cards, dominos.....
8 - 10ish : pica pica flamenco
music and food in the square
tomorow : gardening and workshops on sustainable cities and architecture
11.00 am ish , meet in CSO el barco, then walk up to garden to dig, plant, discuss, be

Endavant amb la proposta, ara estaria bé donar-li el toc català. Això típic d'escriure i fer comunicats en la llengua del lloc on vius i tal.. a molts ens sona. |

és una al·lucinació ho està tot, tot escrit exclusivament en anglès...ostres m'ha desorientat molt...lo de pica pica flamenco ja és la óstia...i espera que nos llamarán provincianos...en fin, viva la pepa i la sensibilidad comunicativa de la penya del Barco...un saludo! |

No us carregeu tan haviat a la penya, poden haver molts motius l.loables(segur que te se ocurreix unes quantes)o pot ser se "equivoquen" ( si pots ensenya-li i amb carinyitu millor), donali una oportunitat i més si no els coneixeu, altra cosa seria actuar com els MasMerda etc.
No prejutjem...
Jo no se anglès, algù pot resumir en 2 linees el que convoquen.

jo penso una cosa, si voleu fer els comunicats en una llengua internacional, aprengueu ESPERANTO, pero no vingueu aqui amb una llengua que esta essent imposada per tot el món.

Bé, resumint;
Diuen que van entrar el passat divendres i que els mossos van arribar el dilluns, dia en que havien obert portes.Els hi han fet una acusacio per lo penal pero diuen que hi estan treballant, i que tenen una setmana de temps.
Diuen que tenen les portes obertes i que faran allo del pica pica flamenco i que tenen molt recolzament de la gent del barri, sobretot de la gent gran, que diu que no hi ha cap centre al barri.
Han organitzat tallers i jocs a la "plaça del jugar" (?) on fan uns escacs gegants, dames, domino i etc...(em sembla que ja va passar).
La seva iniciativa es de crear i treballar els horts a la zona, i que, vist que els mossos i l'ajuntament actuen d'una manera nova en el "joc", que ells estan creant tambe una nova manera de contrarestar-ho (no diuen quina manera es).
Conviden a tothom a passar-hi i a trucar-los al telefon indicat per saber les activitats.
Metro L.Blava, Horta, sortida Lisboa, girar 180 graus i es veu "El Barco".
Apa, salut a la gent del barco -clar que si, com a minim son espontanis, i no tots hem de ser tant "correctes" com alguns voldrien-.
Paciència, i visca la festa i la gresca en l'ambient de barri! |

Vaig arribar tard, quan ja quasi tot estava dat i beneït. No obstant encara vaig poder contestar que la convocatòria havia tingut una resposta prou positiva. Per allà a quarts de deu del vespre encara hi havia una quinzena de persones i un ambient molt cordial.
Penso que, si bé la casa està força destartalada, el lloc és collonut des del punt de vista estratègic: té una mica de "pati" que dóna al carrer per on constantment passa gent que es para a conversar amb els "okupes". La sensació que en vaig treure és que sí que hi ha hagut bona rebuda per part dels veïns, els quals realment tenen ganes que passi quelcom extraordinari.
Suposo, però, que les autoritats no s'estan per hòsties, i que el somni durarà poc... quina llàstima que ens facin tornar a "tocar de peus a terra"; mira que s'hi està bé als "núvols" compartint amb la gent i visquen en harmonia amb l'entorn. |
